The Zencharger can optimize charging on its own produced solar energy.
There are several charging modes to charge your car 100% on solar energy, partially or charge through the grid if the sun is not sufficient.
The solar charging function offers three different modes: Fast Solar, Smart Solar and Pure Solar, each for different charging needs:
– Fast Solar: All the electricity generated is used, together with electricity from the grid, to provide the maximum charging speed.
– Smart Solar: The electricity generated is used together with electricity from the grid, in a smart mix
– Pure Solar: Charging starts in this mode when a minimum of 6A flows back to the grid.
The goal is to use only solar energy for charging.
A slider can be used to determine the maximum capacity from the grid.
Through a special device, the consumption of your home is measured and the power towards the Zencharger is adjusted.
Cars get a new software version and new features, but your charger also needs new software updates.
STROOHM has a lifetime free software update license with ZENCHARGER to make sure you have new features.

The EASEE charging point does not have a fixed cable.
You have the option of connecting your own charging cable or purchasing a black designed STROOHM charging cable that we can lock into the EASEE charging point if desired.
The EASEE Lite was selected by STROOHM because these are very recent chargers that have been used as replacement models for a very short time.
Warranty still applies for a minimum of 2 years.
The EASEE charging point comes with a dedicated app that allows you to fully manage and configure your charging experience and monitor your energy consumption.

Because the total available capacity of an electrical system is limited, your charging station may take up a significant portion of it, leaving little reserve for other household appliances.
To avoid tripping the main circuit breaker while charging the car, especially when other essential appliances such as the oven or washing machine are in use, you can use dynamic load-balancing.
A smart meter continuously measures total energy consumption and adjusts the power of your charging station based on remaining capacity.
This automatically reduces charging power when other appliances are turned on, preventing the total available power from being exceeded and triggering the main circuit breaker.
